Track Days ended - looking forward to 2015

The 2014 Porsche Club Track Day programme has been completed. The Club has run 16 events during the year, with over 500 driver places being booked.

Our last Track Day was at Goodwood circuit in early November and whilst the weather was 'changeable', all of the drivers seemed to enjoy themselves, ending the season on a high.

During this past year we have run days at Seven...

Three Track Days to go in 2014

The 2014 Porsche Club Track Day season is rapidly approaching its end, with just three days left to run.

We currently have places available for all three remaining days, but they are filling quite quickly. The Castle Combe (Thursday 23rd October)  and Goodwood (Monday 10th November) days are always popular, but the Oulton Park day (Wednesday 5th November) is often over-...

Special discount offer for Track Day Novice drivers.

The Porsche Club Track Day season started at Castle Combe on the 10th May with glorious sunshine. An impressive array of cars were booked on the day to get the Club's Track Day programme underway for 2014. The drivers who attended, enjoyed brilliant weather and much track time and great fun.

A selection of photos, taken by our regular photographer Jim Gaisford, have been...

Track Days blessed with good weather and great fun

The Club's Track Days continue to be a great success, with the latest events at Castle Combe and Goodwood being well supported. A certain 'flexibility' on the part of the Goodwood circuit management has meant that we have been able to provide even more track time for those attanding the Goodwood days, where the Open pitlane operation for the Castle Combe days also ensures plenty...

Brands Hatch a great success - spaces at Castle Combe, but Goodwood almost full

The Club's Brands Hatch novice Evening was a great success with a strong turnout of Club drivers enjoying a warm, sunny evening and plenty of track time. With only one unscheduled stoppage during and evening run 'Open Pitlane', all drivers were to be congratulated.

Our next event is Castle Combe on Thursday 27th June. The recent improvement in the weather has seen a...

Track Day on the scenic Anglesey circuit a success

The Porsche Club Track Day on the scenic, sea-side circuit of Anglesey was a success, with a good turn-out of drivers.

Some of those attending the day had travelled to North Wales to be part of the Club's social event taking place the following day at Llandudno (Sunday 28th April), while a good number had driven some distance to have their first experience this fast, challenging...

First Track Day at Castle Combe - great success

The Porsche Club's first Track Day of the year was held at Castle Combe on Thursday 18th April. Brilliant sunshine and a good turnout of drivers created a great day's action.

All of the Club's Track Days will be run to 105dba (noisy days), with the exception of our evening event at Brands Hatch which is run at 102dba.

Our next day is at Goodwood on Tuesday 23rd...

Cadwell Park and Goodwood days a great success

The Porsche Club's most recent Track Days - at Cadwell Park and at Goodwood - have proven to be a great success.

Whilst the numbers attending Cadwell Park were not as high as had been hoped, the weather was brilliant and the Club members who attended, had a great day. We had no unplanned stoppages and a terrific mix of Porsches, from a 2.7 Carrera RS through to current 997 GT3...

The Club's first Goodwood Track Day of the year was a sell-out with great weather. Some places available at Silverstone

The Club's first Goodwood Track Day of the year was sold-out well in advance and was greeted by brilliant sunshine. A full turnout of drivers enjoyed lots of track time in terrific weather conditions. With no stoppages, the day ran like clockwork.

Our next day is on the full Grand Prix circuit at Silverstone. We still have some places available, but we can no longer offer...

Castle Combe was a good day despite changeable weather

The Club's third Castle Combe Track Day of the year was a great day, despite the weather forecasts. The day started grey but the sun broke through to give a lovely sunny morning and lots of dry track time. The forecast rain arrived just after lunch to give us showers through the early and mid-afternoon.

As is so often the case at Castle Combe, the afternoon drew to a close in...
