Castle Combe next on the Track Day schedule

Thia week sees the Club's second Castle Combe Track Day of the year.

As with all of the Track Days this year, the take-up has been very good. The online booking system has allowed Club members to make their bookings when it suits them and to have the booking confirmed almost instantly. This has meant that most of the days have filled very quickly.

However, circumstances...

Porsche Club Track Day season ends on a high

The Porsche Club Track Day program came to an end at Castle Combe on 8th November.

This year has seen the Club successfully run 20 days at 11 different circuits. All days have been well supported and - in the main - the days were run in great weather conditions. Even the last day at Castle Combe, at the beginning of November, started with a damp track, but was run in bright...

Few Places Available on Remaining Track Days

The Porsche Club's Track Days are still going strong, with our last event at Donington Park being fully booked and once again, not one unplanned stoppage duringg the day.

The fact that the Club days run so smoothly is testimony to the driving standards displayed on track. Our drivers are always considerate, allowing each other plenty of space and adhering to the operating...

Great Start to Club's Track Day Season

The Porsche Club Track Day season got underway with an evening event at Brands Hatch on 10 May.

Using the fabulous Indy circuit, the event had been fully booked for somewhile in advance, with many drivers on a Reserve List. We had a full turnout on the evening and terrific weather, good driving and a great atmosphere, made for a wonderful start to our Track Day year.

Our next...

2017 Track Days a huge success - 2018 shedule almost ready

The Porsche Club Track Day program has been a great success.

All days run by the Club were fully booked and in most cases they filled well in advance. Many of the planned days were over-subscribed with us having to create 'reserve lists'. This meant that if somebody did have to 'drop-out' we were able to fill the place easily - keeping two people happy !

Our 2018 Track Day...

Donington Park Track Day a great success

The Porsche Club held its first Donington Park Track Day since 2012 last week and what a great day it was. We had the 'gap in the weather' which provided for lovely sunshine all day. That always helps to make the day feel better and we also had a great bunch of people on the day with a terrific mix of cars.

The fact that it was an 'unlimited noise' day meant we were able to accommodate...

Brilliant Track Day at Knockhill

Our Annual trip to Knockhill for our Scottish Track Day took place on Saturday 24th June and what a great day it was too.

We had a full turn-out of cars, the much appreciated support of Porsche Centre Glasgow and a magnificent display of Porsches organised by the circuit management. In total there were over 215 Porsche at the circuit during the day, representing the biggest gathering of...

The Sun Shines on the Righteous

We have now run three of the Club's seventeen Track Days planned for 2017. Starting at Brands Hatch with an evening event, the season got off to a great start.

This was followed by a day at Castle Combe where we had restricted the numbers booked onto the day, to ensure that everybody got the maximum available time, with a minimum of waiting. All those present felt the day had been a...
