Porsche Club Speed Championship – Harewood 3rd June 2012

The Speed Championship at Harewood ran on a relentlessly rainy day on 3rd June with nine competitors braving this long and treacherously wet hill climb.

Class P1 saw Geraint Evans (slick-shod 3.2 Carrera) competing against Mel Spear (964 Cup Car) at Harewood. Just 1.09 seconds separated them by the end of...

The Speed Championship returns to Curborough

Sunday 25th September marked a return to Curborough after our last round there in May 2007 on a particularly cold and wet day of competition. Unfortunately, for much of last Sunday, that weather returned to make the circuit very slippery, especially in the practice sessions. By the afternoon’s final run, however, the weather warmed up a little and the track had dried enough to see some very...

Graham Rose smashes Class Record in Speed Championship at Loton Park

We returned to Loton Park in Shropshire for the second time this season on Saturday 10th September. This popular but challenging hill climb provided a day of close competition, unexpectedly good weather and a great turnout. Eighteen drivers entered and completed the day without too much drama but with plenty of excitement and some very fast times.

Class P1 produced an excellent field at...
