The Porsche Club's Track Day on the Silverstone International circuit was a terrific success. Brilliant weather and a great group of drivers meant that the day ran without a single stoppage.

This was our first opportunity to sample both the new circuit layout and the newly constructed pit complex, used recently for the British Grand Prix. With free access to the garages, Club members were able to appreciate what has gone into constructing this superb facility.

All drivers had lots of track time, topped off by a superb lunch courtesy of Porsche Cars Great Britain, at their Silverstone Driving Experience.

The view expressed by most drivers that it was a great day and hopefully will be repeated in 2012.
