As part of the Porsche Club's 50th Anniversary celebrations, track activities were organised at Castle Combe on Friday 2nd September and at the Silverstone Stowe circuit on Saturday 3rd September.

The Castle Combe day was a combination of a regular Track Day, combined with 'Taster Sessions' for those who were new to Porsche Club Track Days. The Saturday at Silverstone combined 'Parade Lap Sessions' for 20 cars at a time, dovetailed between sessions of 'Fast Passenger Laps' on-board one of a pair of Porsche Panamera 4S's loaned by Porsche Cars Great Britain.

Over the two days, we had approximately 295 cars on-track, plus about 72 passengers for the 'Fast laps'.

The two days will have introduced Porsche Club Track Days to a whole host of members who may never have tried them. Already we have had drivers come back to book on more days before the end of the season.
