The 2008 Porsche Club Championship season sees the series set for another year of high quality racing - with the season ending at the fabulous Grand Prix circuit at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. In addition, the championship will be supporting the A1GP series on the GP circuit at Brands Hatch, as well as being part of the fabulous Silverstone Classic event on the Silverstone Historic GP circuit followed by the Silverstone 24-Hours, an event that last year saw a capacity 48-car grid as the racers lined up with their Porsche Open compatriots.
The series visits leading UK circuits, including the Silverstone Grand Prix layout (Historic and Full), Brands GP, and Oulton Park - with double-header meetings providing plenty of track time for the closely matched field of Porsches.
The Club championship offers great racing in affordable cars with the prestige of racing a marque with a glorious motorsport history.
2007 champion Mark McAleer will sample the Porsche Carrera Cup GB in a 2008 BTCC meeting, while 2006 champion Ian White makes a welcome return with a new 964 C2 model in Class 1. The Carrera Cup drive (in Porsche's own car in ProAm2 class) - a prize worth over £10,000 is up again in 2008 and is yet another reason that drivers chose to race in the Porsche Club Championship!
